We The People Vermont
Participating
Schools and Supervisory Unions '08-‘09
This school year, our Center for Respectful Schools is directly training
233 leaders from 17 schools in 9 school districts, including 217 youth and
16 teachers. Each of these people in turn leads discussions and special events
with their classrooms and other peers. Thus, our efforts impact the entire
school community. We estimate that our leaders influence an estimated 5,800
youth, and approximately 500 adults participate as partners and/or attend
special events.
The table below shows current
2008-09 school year participation.
* Four new schools started this spring and we are in discussion with the
Windham Southeast superintendant.
+ This represents the number of years at least one school in the supervisory
union has been involved.
^ Programs serve teachers, administrators and parents too, but this figure
includes only students.
