Vermont Peace Academy (VPA) promotes the collaborative engagement of youth from all corners of the globe to foster intercultural respect, trust and friendship. It values cultural, social and intellectual diversity, teaches respect and tolerance, and engages youth to actively pursue peaceful solutions to current social problems and issues. It is dedicated to building pathways toward social harmony and global peace through developing better relationships among people of different communities and different countries.
Vermont Peace Academy, through its divisions of the Center for Respectful Schools, the Institute for Intercultural Learning and Relationships and Pathways to the World, provides opportunities for American students to meet, interact and work in teams with people of different countries on cultural, social and environmental issues of the world.
